1 Timothy 5:8

ESV	But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
KJV	But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
NASB	But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

NLT	But those who won’t care for their relatives, especially those in their own household, have denied the true faith. Such people are worse than unbelievers.

ESV	We love because he first loved us.

NLT	We love each other because he loved us first.

ESV	“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.
KJV	Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
NASB	“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be prolonged in the land which the LORD your God gives you.

ESV	Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
KJV	Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
NASB	bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
NIV	It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
NLT	Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

ESV	Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

ESV	So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

ESV	In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
KJV	So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

ESV	Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
KJV	Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
NASB	bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.
NIV	Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
NLT	Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

ESV	However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
KJV	Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
NASB	Nevertheless, each individual among you also is to love his own wife even as himself, and the wife must see to it that she respects her husband.
NIV	However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
NLT	So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
